Organic farm

Its 48 hectares of land are dedicated to forest, pastures, olive trees, vineyards, and fruit and vegetable production. The farm is surrounded by a number of protected forest areas and parks such as the Sette Frati park near Mount Peglia, the vulcanological park of San Venanzo, and the Elmo and Melonta forests. Free-range, organic pig production The forest and pastures on the farm are used to raise free-range, organic pigs. The pigs
Organic production promotes welfare as it provides animals with an environment that allows them to express their normal behaviour, reduces the need for therapeutic interventions and is environmentally sustainable. The absence of stress and the organic diet significantly improves the quality and the taste of the meat, which forms the basis of a number of dishes served in the restaurant of our agriturismo, be it as fresh meat or in the form of different salami and ham. The farm is certified by the Consorzio Controllo Prodotti Biologici (www.ccpb.it), a member of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (www.ifoam.org).
The vineyard
Our organic vineyard is composed of the following vines: Merlot This red wine grape with its dark blue colour was named after the bird for which it is the favourite food and originates from the south of France.
